Pendleton planners and council members to hold joint meeting

PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council is holding a joint meeting with the Pendleton Planning Commission on Nov. 14. City Manager Robb Corbett said that the meeting will include an annual report from the commission.
“We’re also going to take the opportunity to have some conversation about council goals and policy work that’s going on long term so that we can be on the same page,” he said.
Coordination between the council and the commission is essential, Corbett said.
“Some of the things that would be talked about are the priority for housing and our existing policies conducive to more house building,” he said. “We’ll talk about the expansion of the UGB (urban growth boundary).”
