Stretch of M Avenue in La Grande closed to accommodate construction

LA GRANDE – (Release from La Grande Public Works) City crews will be closing M Avenue from 3rd Street to 4th Street beginning today (November 7th) at 8:30 am. Crews will be working on installing service lines for the new Wildcat Center at the La Grande Middle School. Work is anticipated to take two days, after which the roadway will be reopened. Currently, it is estimated that M Avenue will be re-opened around 5 PM on Wednesday, November 8th.
