College Place to host Mojonnier Road open house

COLLEGE PLACE – The city of College Place will host an open house Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m. at the College Place Fire Station, 629 S. College Ave., for the Mojonnier Road project. City Administrator Mike Rizzitiello said the city has received grant funds and also formed a tax increment district to reconstruct the roadway from South College Avenue to Bluvue Lane.
The project would entail roadway reconstruction to urban standards and include two 12-foot travel lanes, an 11-foot turn lane only at intersections, wide sidewalks. Utilities will also be placed underneath the roadway.
Construction is expected to occur between fiscal year 2024 and 2025.
At the open house, city staff and consultants from PBS Engineering and Environmental will showcase some maps and designs, plus solicit public feedback.
