RoseMarie (Rose) Deno, 79, of Pilot Rock, Oregon, entered into Godโ€™s kingdom on October 22, 2023. She was born October 27, 1943, to Jesse and Addie Lee Kennedy.
Rose, the most loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother is survived by her husband, Bobby; brothers, Jesse and Tim Kennedy; sons, Dale and his wife Carolyn, Dennis and his wife Angela; daughter, Debbie and her husband David; grandchildren Kurtis, Kayla, Danyka, Breanna, Deryck, Caleb and Dillyn and 13 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by father, Jesse Kennedy, mother: Addie Lee Kennedy Paige and brother: Nathan Kennedy.
Upon graduation from Elgin High School, Rose and her family moved to Phoenix Arizona shortly thereafter. This is where she met and married the love of her life, Bobby Deno on November 17, 1961.
In October of 1970, the family of 5 moved to Pilot Rock Oregon where Bob worked at the mill and Rose was a homemaker. Rose then gave 35 years to the Pilot Rock school district as a bus driver and instructor. She attended Blue Mountain Community College and obtained her bachelors degree with honors in Business Accounting at the age of 42.
She was a devout Christian and very active in her church. She knew no strangers and had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation. Her stories, hugs and laugh was infectious to everyone around her.
Rose loved her family. She fiercely fought for them, cared about them, nurtured them and raised them. She would treat her friends like family.
Rose was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt by all that loves her dearly. She was a selfless woman whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her friends and loved ones.
