PASCO – The Washington State Department of Transportation will take another look to see if there are any additional modifications that can be made to the intersection of US 395 and Crestloch Road in north Pasco. A fatal crash at that intersection killed two people and injured two others over the weekend.
WSDOT South Central Assistant Communications Manager Summer Derrey said in 2020 safety modifications were made to US 395 between Pasco and Ritzville, including the intersection at Crestloch Road.
“These modifications included acceleration and deceleration lanes and increasing the length of the exiting left lanes,” Derrey said.
WSDOT’s traffic office will be working with the Washington State Patrol to investigate the cause of recent crashes at that intersection to see if any other modifications can be made.
