Vehicle stopped in Harney County and driver arrested for Laundering a Monetary Instrument

Harney County(Released by Oregon State Police)-On Friday, Oregon State Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on HWY 20 near MP 122 driven by Mark Dentremont, 42, of Kirby Oregon.

A warrant to search the vehicle was authorized after criminal activity was observed. Approximately $100,000 of rubber banded US currency was removed from the vehicle.

The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Harney County Jail for Laundering a Monetary Instrument.
