PASCO – A suspect in the attempted murder of two Pasco police officers on May 17, 2020, was sentenced Monday in Franklin County Superior Court to 49 years and six months in prison.

Miguel Angel Montalvo, a repeat felony offender and known gang member, opened fire on Pasco police officers Joshua Glass and Eric Fox as he and another suspect, Juan Montalvo, were exiting a residence.

The officers were on the scene as they had probable cause to arrest both suspects for kidnapping and attempted murder. Both officers returned fire, injuring Miguel Montalvo and resulting in the death of Juan Montalvo.
