Monument School’s new staff housing is finished and in use

MONUMENT – Monument School District Superintendent Laura Thomas was on KJDY’s Coffee Time Wednesday. Mrs. Thomas gave listeners an update on some new staff housing that recently went in on the school’s campus:
“We received a grant maybe a year-and-a-half ago or so, for a tiny home through the Eastern Oregon REN. We finished, over the summer, building that home and late summer, the final touches were put on it and a staff member moved into the home just at the start of September. Right at the start of the schoolyear.”
