MILTON-FREEWATER – An investigation into a report of graffiti that occurred in multiple locations throughout Milton-Freewater last Thursday night resulted in the arrest of three subjects.
Police Chief Joe Shurtz said an officer got to work after the graffiti was reported last Friday morning. The officer was able to review video footage taken at one of the graffiti sites, identify the make and model of the vehicle used by the suspects, plus get a partial plate of the vehicle.
The officer was able to locate the vehicle later that morning and contacted three occupants in the vehicle. During the contact, a firearm was found in the vehicle.
Taken into custody for the graffiti were Angel Armando Flores Diaz and Omar Robles. Diaz also had a Umatilla County warrant. Omar Robles had a city of Milton-Freewater municipal warrant and was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
A third suspect, Gerado Robles, was taken into custody on an Umatilla County warrant.
All three subjects were transported to the Umatilla County Jail.
