TOUCHET – Starting today (Monday), the Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will detour travelers using westbound U.S. 12 near the Nine Mile Hill Bridge. The detour allows the contractor to perform pavement work on the bridge.
Drivers can expect to see traffic reduced to one lane. Cars will be detour down the off ramp to Old Highway 12 near the Nine Mile Hill interchange, then directed back to the on ramp.
The speed limit will be reduced to 25 miles per hour. WSDOT expects the detour to end by Sept. 29.
