SRO program returns to College Place

COLLEGE PLACE – Students attending College Place Public Schools have a new friend in law enforcement.
College Place Police Officer Andrew Schild will be the district’s school resource officer for the 2023-2024 school year.
“He is currently part time until the 25th of this month when he will be back to full time,” Police Chief Troy Tomaras said.
The school resource program returns to College Place Public Schools following a yearlong pause of the program due to an officer shortage at CPPD.
