CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail on domestic violence strangulation as well as an assault charge from two separate cases. Grant County Court documents show that Jeremiah Obadaai Gwalthey, 45, pleaded guilty to Strangulation—Constituting Domestic Violence, as well as one count of Assault in the Fourth Degree from another case.
Gwalthey was sentenced to a total of 20 days in jail, placed on Supervised Probation for 18 months, and ordered to pay a total of $200 in fines. One count was disposed with no conviction.
