Pendleton chamber offers R-Up ticket resale

PENDLETON – The Pendleton Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for Round-Up the second full week of September. Chief Executive Officer Cheri Rosenberg LaBoy runs the ticket re-sale program and she said there’s already a two-and-a-half page waiting list for Friday and Saturday rodeo tickets.
She urges people not to lose heart about the long list. When tickets become available she gets on the phone, and is surprised at the number of people on the list who don’t answer the calls. The chamber informs people that if they are called, they must respond quickly because no message will be left.
“We give you a few minutes to call us back,” she said. “Then, if we haven’t hear from you in about five or 10 minutes, we just go to the next name.”
While the chamber did not have any Friday or Saturday tickets for Round-Up on hand when we spoke, they do have Wednesday and Thursday rodeo tickets, some concert tickets and some Xtreme Bull tickets, as well as box seats for Happy Canyon.
