Fire in Burns caused by a candle

Burns-Around approximately 1:45 am, Wednesday August 30, 2023, Burns Fire Department was dispatched to a fire on Railroad Ave in Burns. According to Burns Fire Department a shed/garage located behind the home caught fire and was completely destroyed. Burns Fire Department along with Hines Fire Department and Burns Paiute Tribe Fire helped extinguish the fire. Harney County EMS was on stand by.
After investigation, the cause of the fire was determined to be caused by a candle.
