Juvenile struck by bullet during shooting

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Police Department is looking for whoever is responsible for shooting at a residence on the 200 block of Tausick Way at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday and striking a juvenile. Detectives said the juvenile sustained non-life-threatening injuries and that the shooting was not a random act.
Dispatch received a 911 call from the residence reporting someone had just shot through their walls and someone in the residence was hit by a bullet. When officers arrived, they found evidence that the shooting had occurred, and a juvenile had been shot. After securing the scene, the Walla Walla Fire Department began treating the injured juvenile at the scene before transporting the juvenile to the hospital.
Detectives from the Walla Walla Police Department and Walla Walla Regional Drug and Gang Task Force are investigating. Anyone with information about the shooting can call 509-527-4344 to speak to a detective.
