GRANT COUNTY – The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife reports in the latest Livestock Depredation Investigation documents that a dead calf in the Larch Creek area could have been killed by a wolf or wolves.
On August 9th, an investigation took place in an area within public land near Larch Creek in Grant County. It was determined that depredation on a six-month-old calf by wolves is possible, but it’s otherwise unknown how the calf died. Nothing further was released regarding the investigation.
