Two injured in shooting

The following is a news release from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office:

At 8:04PM on 7-26-2023 Morrow County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a possible drive-by shooting in the Depot Lane area just outside of Irrigon.

At this time, we believe this was specifically between the involved persons and not a random act of violence.

One patient was Life-flighted to Tri-Cities, the other one was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston. Both persons have since been released from the hospitals.

This is in the very early stages of an on-going investigation, when we have further information for the public, we will put out an updated Press Release.
