PRAIRIE CITY – Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley has recently informed our newsroom that his office has agreed to increase patrols in Prairie City:
“I believe the contract has been signed and it’s getting ready to be pushed out, and that will definitely help get more coverage in Prairie.
The plan is to help staff a position in Prairie. We’ll figure out what hours those are. It’ll be at the peak times, obviously, when somebody needs to be up there.”
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line is (541) 575-1131.
