Kam Wah Chung saw over 1,500 visitors last month

JOHN DAY – Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Site Park Ranger Michaela Coleman appeared on KJDY’s Coffee Time Monday, speaking on happenings at the museum. Coleman said they get quite a few visitors each month:

“Just in the month of June, we had over 1,500 visitors. We do keep track of number the people that walk through our door, and that’s pretty substantial. I mean, John Day’s a community of just under 1,700, so having almost that same number just walk through the door of our building is pretty astounding.”
