Upper Steens Loop Road to remain open

Harney County-The Upper Steens Loop Road will open June 30, 2023, but the South Loop from Big Indian Gate about a mile in is indefinitely closed due to rock slides and unstable hillsides. The upper end of mile stretch will be blocked with boulders.
