JOHN DAY – Families First of Grant County’s Program Supervisor Katrina Randleas along with Family Support Specialist Megan Nordstrom appeared on KJDY’s Coffee Time to discuss positive childhood experiences and the impact they have on children and families.
Nordstrom said they try to something fun each month, and this Friday they’ll be fishing:
“We do monthly events, always on Fridays from 10 until noon. It’s once a month. We have one coming up this Friday at 7th Street Park. We’re going to be fishing in the park. All the kids are going to get free fishing poles. Anyone who wants to join can sign up. We ask that anyone over 12, let us know so that we can make sure and get everyone fishing licenses.”
Folks with questions can contact the Families First Parent Resource Center on Facebook.
