Baker and Wallowa Counties Assist Adams County, Idaho, With an Incident in hells Canyon Corridor

HELLS CANYON – (Release from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office) On June 8, 2023 hours after 2330 Adams County received a report of a male shooting at power generating facilities in the Hells Canyon Corridor. Damage was sustained to both Brownlee and Hells Canyon power equipment. No one was injured during the event and there were no customer outages related to the incident.
With a coordinated effort between multiple jurisdictions Adams, Washington, Baker, and Wallowa Counties, the male was apprehended without incident. Officers also seized multiple firearms from the suspect. Due to this investigation being ongoing, we will update the public as more information becomes available.
