SPOKANE – U.S. Attorney Vanessa R. Waldref announced Tuesday that three women – Laurel J. Holland, Frieda K. Zimmerman, and Allie S. Jensen – were sworn in as federal prosecutors for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington.

All three women will represent the United States Department of Justice in criminal and civil cases prosecuted in federal court.

Holland and Zimmerman will serve as assistant U.S. attorneys and Jensen will serve as a special assistant U.S. attorney. Serving in the criminal division, Holland is the first federal prosecutor ever appointed to serve full time in the newly staffed U.S. Attorney’s Office in Richland.

Zimmerman, another member of the office’s criminal division, and Jensen, who will handle white collar fraud for both the criminal and civil divisions, will serve out of the main office in Spokane.
