Man arrested for eluding police on ATV

MILTON-FREEWATER – Anthony Robles Castillo, 21, was arrested Wednesday night after Milton-Freewater police were notified around 9:30 p.m. of ATVs racing around Walnut Street and Southeast 12th Avenue. He faces felony charges for attempting to elude officers.
Castillo eventually stopped and was taken into custody on Southeast Ninth Street. In addition to fleeing officers, he faces a charge of reckless driving.
“We’ve had recent complaints of ATVs and motorcycles riding around town and these types of vehicles are extremely tough to catch,” MFPD Chief Joe Shurtz said.
