EOU Accounting Student Ashley Aguilera Honored by OSCPA

LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) Eastern Oregon University’s top accounting student Ashley Aguilera was chosen by the faculty to be recognized by the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) as EOU’s Top Accounting Student.
OSCPA recognized and honored the professional achievements and accomplishments of the members and those in the accounting profession during the 2023 Circle of Excellence annual awards dinner on May 11, 2023.
Honorees included members with milestone anniversaries, new members, newly certified CPAs, those that have passed the Uniform CPA Examination, top accounting students, and OSCPA Educational Foundation scholarship recipients.
Accounting Professor Brooke Stout and Accounting Professor Tanya Kausler attended the ceremony with Aguilera in Portland. Zack Alcoser was awarded a scholarship but was unable to attend.
