Dark Sky Association coming to Eastern Oregon

Harney County-Bob Hacket spoke on Harney County Live about Eastern Oregon becoming part of the Dark Skies Association what what is involved in doing this. Bob broke the myth about having no lights in the area and what is required to become dark skies.
Oregon currently only had 1 area that is designated to Dark Skies and that is Prineville Reservoir. The goal for Eastern Oregon is to involve multiple counties and publicly owned land and make it the largest Dark Sky area in the world.
