Man jailed for contempt of court

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail after being found in contempt of court, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents.
Austin J Catron, 21, recently pleaded guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. That guilty plea came in February. Catron was sentenced to 18 months on Bench Probation with special conditions and fined $740.00 in fees and DUII diversion.
Grant County Circuit Court documents show that Catron was also found to be in contempt of court and was sentenced to a total of 10 days in jail. One other count was disposed with no conviction.
