Man to spend time in prison on DUII, firearm charge

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in prison on firearm and driving charges, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Shawn Alan Miller, 53, recently pleaded “no contest” to Felon in Possession of a Firearm, DUII and Reckless Driving.

Miller was sentenced to a total of 13 months in prison and placed on Post-Prison Supervision for 24 months. One count was disposed with no conviction.
