GRANT COUNTY – Winter and springtime can bring many concerns to folks living in Grant County, including a lot of our local ranchers. Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley recently reminded listeners to report any cases into his office regarding potential livestock abuse:

“It was a long, tough winter out there on a lot of livestock. We’re starting to get livestock calls about some animals looking a little rough after the winter. There were some places that it was hit harder than others, and I know people are…they’ve lost some animals. If it looks like an egregious case of ‘they just never fed them’ let us know. We’ll go and look into that and try to help. If it looks criminal, we’ll deal with it.”
