EOU Softball Holding at 25 in National Rankings

LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) The NAIA released the results of the third official 2023 Softball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, and Eastern Oregon remained in the rankings at the No. 25 spot for the second consecutive poll.

EOU remains one of the top teams in the nation after several solid outings against tough competition over the last week. The Mountaineers started off the week with a split against the now No. 8-ranked College of Idaho Yotes, then took two of three against Carroll College at the end of the week.

Eastern will get a chance to prove their mettle this upcoming weekend when they take on the No. 1 team in the nation, Oregon Tech, on April 7 and 8. Eastern will take on the Hustlin’ Owls in Klamath Falls with start times scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m. on Friday.
