WWPD arrests a man in shots fired incident

News release from the Walla Walla Police Department:

WALLA WALLA, WA – 26-year-old Walla Walla resident Robbie Spink IV was arrested on probable cause
after reportedly discharging a firearm toward another Walla Walla man in the 400 block of Harrison St.
On March 31, 2023, at 5:06 PM, Walla Walla Emergency Services Communications Center (WESCOM)
received a 911 call about shots fired in the area of Harrison St. and Chase Ave. Witnesses updated 911
dispatchers of the suspect’s location as the suspect, Robbie Spink fled the area on foot. As Walla Walla
Police Officers came into the area, witnesses pointed them in the direction of Spink’s location near the
Walla Walla County Fairgrounds. Officers located Spink inside the fairgrounds and took him into custody
without incident. Spink had a handgun in his possession at the time of his arrest.
Spink was booked into the Walla Walla County Jail on charges of Assault 1st, Unlawful
Possession of a Firearm 1st, and Carrying a Concealed Pistol Without a Permit.
Spink was known by the victim. This was an isolated incident. There is no danger to the public.
