Burns-March is Speed Awareness Month and with that being said, the Burns Police Department has been hard at work!
The Burns Police Department mad a total of 44 traffic stops. In those 44 traffic stops, 2 were DUII’s, 4 were arrested due to Misdemeanors, and 1 resulted in a Felony Arrest.
Officers conduct High Visibility Patrol Periods several times a year, in order to increase awareness on unsafe driving and target Impaired Drivers.
High Visibility Patrol Periods help prevent and detect criminal activity in our community, to keep our community safe.
