John Day Interim City Manager provides relief for Mayor

JOHN DAY – John Day’s Interim City Manager started work earlier this week. Mayor Heather Rookstool was on KJDY’s Coffee Time and told listeners that much of her workload as mayor has lightened up since he started:
“Rick Allen officially started last Monday. He is from the Madras area. He’s taking over building the agenda and all that kind of stuff for the meetings, and all that. I still had some things in the evening to do on my computer or email, but it was much nicer to do it at home versus City Hall.”
Interim City Manager Rick Allen will be on Coffee Time Thursday, March 16th.
