Work to start Wallula Avenue roundabout

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla County Public Works is alerting drivers that starting Monday, work begins on the Wallula Avenue intersection reconstruction project, which includes a compact roundabout and sidewalks.
The intersection ties Wallula Avenue, which runs east and west, with Gose Street to the north and College Avenue to the south.
Starting Monday, Gose Street will be closed between Northwest B Street and Electric Avenue until Ellison Earthworks LLC, based in Richland, Washington, finishes the intersection reconstruction project.
The $795,000 project is expected to be completed in June.
