GRANT COUNTY – Just a reminder, it’s that time of the year to nominate local teachers for the Teacher of the Year Award—an effort to recognize our state’s educators brought forth by the Oregon Department of Education and Oregon Lottery Foundation.
Grant County ESD Superintendent Robert Waltenburg says you still have a couple of weeks to get those nominations in:
“We would like to see those by February 15th. I believe the date is actually a little later in February, but we’d like to get them in early. It’s such an easy process—throw in the name; throw in a paragraph saying ‘this is why this teacher is amazing.’ It’ll take you two minutes.”
