KPD arrests suspected car prowler

KENNEWICK – A man suspected of prowling several vehicles was arrested Friday. Victor Gutierrez, 28, of Kennewick was taken into custody at a residence on the 2900 block of West 19th Avenue after officers from the Kennewick Police Department, with the assistance of officers from the Pasco Police Department and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant.
Gutierrez was identified as allegedly committing multiple car prowls in the city of Kennewick. He also had a warrant for his arrest. Gutierrez was taken into custody, and has been linked to numerous other car prowls. Stolen property was recovered and KPD will continue to investigate.
Gutierrez was booked into the Benton County Jail for multiple counts of vehicle prowl and identity theft.
