Baker City Man Cited for Unlawfully Tagging Elk

BAKER CITY – (Information from Oregon State Police) With reports due January 31 for 2022 tags, it may be best not to falsify information. Adam Joshua Radford of Baker City was recently cited by the Oregon State Police for the unlawful tagging of antlerless elk as of January 14. The OSP issued the following statement the citation:
“OSP received a hasty validation report regarding the Keating WMU. The pursuing investigation revealed Subject 1 exceeded their big game bag, killing two antlerless elk. Subject 1 called Subject 2 and Subject 2 proceeded to purchase a 2022 Antlerless Damage tag and unlawfully tagged an antlerless elk. Subject 2 admitted to the current possession and the antlerless elk meat was seized. Subject 2 was cited for Take/Possession of Antlerless Elk (Violation).”
