Man is charged with mail theft

KENNEWICK – A man was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with felony mail theft after officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of West Third Avenue for suspicious circumstances.
According to the Kennewick Police Department, Christopher Michael A. Cook, 29, was reportedly taking mail out of multiple mailboxes in the area. Officers apprehended Cook, and found him to be in possession of 45 pieces of mail with multiple addresses.
KPD said probable cause was developed to arrest Cook and take him into custody. The mail was returned to the addressees.
