City launches a projects website

PENDLETON – Pendleton residents can satisfy their curiosity about projects that are underway in the Round-Up City with a new website. Public Works Director Bob Patterson says the site is the result of months of hard work.

“We’ve been at this most of last year in trying to organize how we wanted it to look,” he said.

The site includes projects that are completed, in progress, and planned. Residents aren’t the only people who will find the site interesting.

“Outside developers are very interested in understanding the investments being made in our community as they consider development opportunities in Pendleton,” Patterson said.

The site, https://pendletonprojects.com/, will be updated frequently. Visitors will also benefit from the interactive projects map. The website was devised due to a desire by the Pendleton City Council to do a better job of communicating with the community. Also in a communications survey last year, construction was the top priority needing communication by private citizens.
