Malheur National Forest closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

John Day, Prairie City and Hines — All Malheur National Forest offices will be closed Monday, January 16, 2023, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Please plan accordingly for any of your Malheur National Forest needs.

Congress designated the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday as a national day of service in recognition of Dr. King’s legacy of service and leadership to gain equality for all Americans.
