KENNEWICK – Detectives from the Kennewick Police Department arrested two men Wednesday in connection to a string of residential burglaries where money, jewelry, and firearms were stolen. Through the investigation, detectives learned similar burglary investigations were being conducted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Connell Police Department. All three agencies worked together to connect the burglaries.
Detectives identified two individuals who allegedly participated in these burglaries: Abel Perez-Morales, 28, and Alejandro Alvarez-Dominguez, 27. Both men were located and taken into custody at a hotel on the 4000 block of West 27th Place in Kennewick.
Perez-Morales was booked on multiple outstanding warrants in reference to residential burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm, illegal entry after deportation, larceny, and second-degree theft. He was also arrested on new charges of residential burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Alvarez-Dominguez was booked for residential burglary.
Both men are currently being held in the Benton County Jail.
