Gibson sentenced to jail on theft charge

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail on a theft charge, according to recent Grant County Circuit Court documents. Nicholas P Gibson, 31, pleaded guilty to Theft in the Second Degree. Gibson has been sentenced to 45 days in jail and placed on Bench Probation for 18 months. The misdemeanor crime was committed in June of 2022.
