MOSES LAKE – An 18-year-old male and two juveniles were arrested Monday afternoon after illegally entering Moses Lake High School and threatening to kill a student. The 18-year-old male is not enrolled in the high school and the two juveniles were on suspension from another school, according to police.
Shortly before 3 p.m. the three suspects encountered the victim and threatened to kill him. The adult male intimidated the victim saying he had a weapon and appeared to be drawing a gun. The victim ran away through the hallway with the three suspects in pursuit.
The victim made it to the office where police were notified, and the three suspects fled on foot. Officers quickly captured the three and took the suspects into custody.
When contacted by police, the 18-year-old male was found to be in possession of a realistic looking CO2 pistol.
The three were arrested on a variety of charges. No one was injured in the incident.
The Moses Lake Police Department said the investigation is ongoing, with video evidence being gathered and witnesses being interviewed. More information will be released when the investigation is completed.
