BAKER COUNTY – The Baker County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has been awarded a SPIRE (State Preparedness and Incident Response Equipment Grant from the Oregon Office of Emergency Management.
According to BCSO, earlier this summer, “Sheriff Ash submitted a request for a mobile emergency center. The 35-foot trailer will be utilized during search and rescue operations and natural disaster events and is equipped with 3 work stations, a small conference room and satellite communications capabilities.”
It was also noted that the trailer will be a benefit to multiple agencies
