Four More Mountaineers Earn All-CCC Honors

LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) The Cascade Collegiate Conference has announced its 2022 All-Conference selections and Eastern Oregon University had four players make the list.
Earning All-CCC honors were Carlos Murillo, Dalton Mauzay, Max Rose, and Daniel Kropf. Murillo, Mauzay, Rose, and Kropf were all selected to the Honorable Mention All-CCC team for their standout performances on the pitch this season.
This is Murillo’s second Honorable Mention All-CCC selection with his first being in the 2021 season. Murillo was a key aspect of the Mountie offense, starting 13 matches this season, tallying four goals, two of which were game winners. Also earning his second All-CCC selection was goalkeeper Dalton Mauzay. Starting all 16 games, Mauzay was the anchor for the Eastern defense. Tallying 53 saves, Mauzay was able to post seven scoreless games in goal in 2022.
Rose, a standout forward for the Mounties, was also named to the All-CCC Honorable Mention team. Rose, a key part in the Eastern offense, scored five goals on 26 shots. He was also able to post one assist early in the 2022 season. The final All-CCC Honorable mention selection for the Mounties was freshman midfielder Daniel Kropf. In just his first season, Kropf started 14 matches, tallying two assists and 12 total shots

The Mountaineers season continues as they enter Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament play. No. 7 seeded Eastern will take on No. 2 Oregon Tech at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, Nov. 8 in Springfield, Ore.
