ODOT Construction Updates – Union & Baker Counties

UNION & BAKER COUNTIES – (Release from the Oregon Department of Transportation)
McAlister Rd Bridge: The contractor will be installing the decorative fencing on top of the bridge rail. Single lane closures will be in affect with flaggers controlling traffic.
2nd Street Bridge over I-84: The contractor will continue the process to remove and change out the bridge baring pads. They will also be working on the bridge end joints. Travel over the bridge will continue to be closed to vehicular traffic through October 29th. It will remain open to pedestrians and bicycles.
OR86 Bridge over I-84 (Richland Interchange): No work is planned for this week.
Bridge over I-84 at Upper Perry (Exit 256 EB Off Ramp): No work is planned for this week.
I-84 between Ladd Canyon and North Powder: The contractor will be installing shoulder delineators and finishing up punch list items throughout the week. There will be shoulder closers as each operation moves from one area to the next.
