EASTERN OREGON – (Release from the Oregon Secretary of State’s Office) People with disabilities have the right to vote in Oregon. And thanks to vote-by-mail, many Oregonians have an accessible way to cast their ballot. But some people still need assistance to participate in our democracy. We’ve got you covered.

You have the right to register, vote independently and confidentially, and return your ballot securely. Your election officials are here to help.
Did you know that voters with disabilities can use accommodations like these?
- A large print ballot.
- An electronic ballot that is screen reader accessible.
- A signature stamp from the county clerk to allow a voter who has difficulty signing a way to sign their ballot envelope.
- A tablet-based voting process, when a paper ballot is not accessible to the voter.
