GRANT COUNTY – Grant County Public Health Director Kimberly Lindsey was on Coffee Time recently, and noted that drug treatment services are evolving as deadly substances are increasingly being used in drug manufacturing:
“As we have evolved in our chemistry and our treatment for a lot of medical disorders and concerns, so has the chemistry evolved for drug manufacturing.
A lot of the drugs out there today are completely synthetic. That increases the likelihood that you’re getting something you don’t know, and it could be very deadly.”
