PRAIRIE CITY – Around 8:41 last night, John Day Interagency Dispatch was advised of a forest fire near Prairie City, with the call originating from North River Road. The Bogue Creek Fire was last estimated at just under 3 acres, burning in the Malheur National Forest on a ridge above Deardorff Creek in grass, brush, timber, snags, logs and duff.
