4th Ave in John Day closed due to repairs

JOHN DAY – According to a release from John Day Public Works, SW 4^th Ave from SW Brent to Airport Way and Industrial Park Road will be closed beginning tomorrow, August 17^th. The roadway is getting repairs where it was damaged by flooding some years ago.

The closure will run from 7:00am through 4:00 p.m. daily, with the possible of a complete closure during the week of August 22^nd.

Residents on SW 4^th are encouraged to use alternate routes, such as Adam Drive and West Bench Rd. The department asks for folks to pay attention to signage, as it’s extremely difficult to turn around near the project area.
